Cherry Blossom Season is traditionally seen as a time to reflect not only on rebirth but on the beauty that can be had in fleeting things.
In the event, you can walk along the long cherry tree drive of the photo below and amble around the extensive gardens. In addition to the Cherry blossom lane, visitors will be able to explore the extensive gardens, feed the cows & alpacas, view and try on Chinese ethnic minority clothing, enjoy face painting, gardening and bakery seminars (in English and Mandarin), stilt walkers and more. The entry also offers discounts on a variety of local restaurants.
(Due to unforeseen circumstances Zealong tea will not be participating in the festival.)
Visitors can get 12-15% discount on the Hamilton restaurants of Three Leg Frog, Sichuan Style, and Shanghai Chinese Restaurant.
Ticket price: Adult $10/person, child (under 12 years old) $8/person, infants (under 2) free.
$8 per person for group registration (over 20 people).
