The only Film Festival in New Zealand dedicated to contemporary cinematographic productions from Latin America and Spain. LASFF is a yearly non-profit event, organized by the Embassies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile. Cuba, Mexico and Spain in Wellington. LASFF shows 11 films from Latin America and Spain subtitled in English. LASSF gives the public the opportunity of learning more about the different cultural and social aspects of the region through the big screen. The admission for the Film Festival is free, making it more accessible for the wider community, and therefore, attracting an even larger audience.

Sunday 10th: Cuba Libre (Historical Drama 2015, Cuba).
Monday 11th: The beginning of time (Drama 2014, Mexico).
Tuesday 12th: Margarita, that sweet Chaos (Comedy 2016, Perú).
Wednesday 13th: Alba (Drama 2016, Ecuador).
Thursday 14th: Promenade Women (Comedy 2013, Uruguay).
Friday 15th: Take Me Out (Comedy 2013, Venezuela).
Saturday 16th: 6 pm - Decent People (Drama 2015, Colombia).
Saturday 16th: 8 pm - The Story of Me (Drama 2009, Brazil).
Sunday 17th: Son of the Bride (Comedy 2001, Argentina).
Doors will open half an hour before screening. Opening night will start at 6 pm. Food from Caribe Latin Kitchen and soft drinks will be available for sale.
