The Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ is excited to bring you the New Zealand Respiratory Conference 2017.
Focusing on the theme of sharing the care – breathing easier, renowned industry experts will come together to discuss working collaboratively and in partnership, to ultimately improve client health outcomes.
The programme will provide the latest research in the clinical management of respiratory health including asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis and sleep apnoea. Experts will discuss how to provide support that is community-based, family centred and culturally relevant.
The conference is the largest gathering or hui for professionals with an interest in respiratory in New Zealand. Delegates include GP’s, nurses, pharmacists, specialists, educators and researchers.
The Impact of Respiratory Disease Report: 2016 Update launched in early 2017, highlights the alarming fact that respiratory disease continues to make a substantial contribution to New Zealand’s health burden, costing the country over $6 billion annually.
It is essential that we get it right in all areas to really be making a difference, allowing New Zealanders to breathe easier.
