The Edge, New Zealand’s hottest entertainment brand, MediaWorks and TEG Live are thrilled to announce pop superstar Jason Derulo and multi-award winning hitmakers Fifth Harmony as the international headline acts for this summer’s biggest music festival series, KFC Edgefest.
Derulo, who began his career writing songs for the likes of Lil Wayne, Pitbull, Diddy and Sean Kingston, has gone on to sell more than 50 million singles worldwide with 11 career-defining platinum singles, including the New Zealand #1 single Whatcha Say, Want to Want Me, In My Head, Ridin' Solo, Don't Wanna Go Home and It Girl.
Also joining Jason Derulo in New Zealand for KFC Edgefest is English dance pop sensation Jonas Blue whose New Zealand top 20 hits include Fast Car, Perfect Strangers and Mama; plus Norwegian tropical house/pop princess Astrid S whose 2016 track Hurts So Good reached #18 in the Kiwi music charts.
Performing KFC Edgefest alongside these international acts are some of New Zealand’s stellar contemporary musical talent, including hip-hop star Kings (Don’t Worry Bout It) and singer-songwriter Mitch James (Move On).
