Perhaps not the chamber music you’d expect to accompany Auckland Art Gallery’s latest exhibition The Corsini Collection: A Window on Renaissance Florence, the live entertainment for this series of Open Lates showcases the talents of some of the new Renaissance men and women in the local music scene. Just in time for the Christmas office party season, enjoy the combined talents of Botticelli and Caravaggio alongside hip hop artists JessB and Melodownz.
Presented in association with VICE New Zealand this series of events offers visitors a unique chance to see ‘The Corsini Collection’ after hours in a fun and relaxed environment along with DJs, live music, food and drink.

JessB and Melodownz
JessB is stamping her mark as New Zealand's new Queen of rap and hip hop. With her debut EP in the works (featuring production by legendary NZ producer P-Money) JessB is currently laying the foundations for her music industry takeover. 2017 is her breakout year.
Hip hop lyricist Melodownz, is a half cast Polynesian urban poet and artist raised in the phone line-tangled urban village of Avondale. After releasing his greatly received Debut EP 'Avontales' he has sold out shows nationwide and recently came back from Europe after making waves in Berlin and London with his unique style of rap. He also featured in a recent COLORS Berlin Episode and has been announced to perform at next year's Laneway Festival.
