For this year's Te Rā o Waitangi: a Celebration of Waitangi Day, a family and community theme runs through the programme celebrating our cultural diversity.
The event will be centred around the Te Raukura building, spreading along the waterfront, and features:
- activities;
- bands;
- trade stands;
- kiwiana and Māori-themed kai.
The day finishes with an outdoor movie, Boy, in the early evening.
