New Plymouth Little Theatre's July production, The Weir by Conor McPherson, directed by Heather Harrison, has been described as 'story telling for grown-ups.'
Set in a small bar in a remote part of rural Ireland on a dark and windy night, the local men swap spooky stories, as only the Irish can, in an attempt to impress a young woman recently arrived from Dublin. This visit to the local pub will indelibly mark each one of the group as the evening closes in.
Winner of the 1999 Olivier Award for Best New Play and voted one of the Twentieth Century's Most Significant.
