In the sequel to last year’s inaugural Cuisine Masterclass Series, in association with Daniel Le Brun, four culinary stars will each demonstrate three dishes in an Electrolux cooking theatre at The Langham Auckland.

Tickets for each session include a glass of Daniel Le Brun Brut Traditionnelle on arrival, tasting plates and wine matches for each of the three dishes, followed by a cup of Nespresso coffee and a petit four. At each session all guests will receive a gift bag and will go in the draw to win a magnum of Daniel Le Brun Brut Traditionnelle.

Theme: The French Cafe at home
In a rare coup, Simon Wright, the highly respected chef-owner of Auckland fine-diner The French Cafe – a former Supreme Winner of the Cuisine NZ Restaurant of the Year – will reveal tips for an elegant dinner party at home.
Timing: 11.45am doors open 12.30pm start

Date: Friday 5 October 2012, evening
Theme: Cooking on the bone
A past Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Chef of the Year, British-born Sean Connolly quickly made his mark on Auckland’s food scene with The Grill. Discover different meat cuts and the beauty of cooking meat and fish on the bone.
Timing: 6.45pm doors open 7.30pm start

Chef: Michael Meredith
Date: Saturday 6 October 2012, afternoon
Theme: Magic with NZ ingredients
The winner of the Cuisine NZ Restaurant of the Year 2011, innovative chef Michael Meredith, of Merediths, uses only local produce. See the alchemist at his inventive best, showing cooks how to transform humble Kiwi ingredients into sublime dishes.
Timing: 11.45am doors open for 12.30pm start

Chef: Warren Turnbull
Date: Saturday 6 October 2012, evening
Theme: Food for sharing
NZ-born Warren Turnbull opened the Auckland version of District Dining after the success of his Sydney original and his highly regarded fine-diner Assiette. Learn his insider secrets to District Dining-style shared plates.
Tickets: $110 per person per session
Timing: 6.45pm doors open for 7.30pm start

Seating for the event will be allocated by the event organisers. Tickets booked together will be seated together.
